The Playhouse Film Club is deservedly popular. A list of films is produced at the end of each season and members can vote on which ones they wish to see in the following season. The films are normally shown on the first Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings of each month, and members specify which night they wish to attend. In a given month members can switch to another night by telephoning the number above to check if there is a vacancy on their preferred night.

As with other Playhouse ventures the entertainment is linked to a pleasant social occasion as the film is paused for a short time to allow for coffee and a chat.

Film Club membership enrolls you as a full member of the Playhouse so that you will receive a list of What’s On and be entitled to vote & elect the Playhouse committee.

Membership fee for the 2007/8 season is £16 per person (This includes full membership to Backwell Playhouse).

Membership is currently full but you can join the waiting list by contacting Tina Andrews on 01275 464259.

To request a change of night for attending the next film, contact Tim Lewis on 01275 790555.
