Join Backwell Playhouse for North Somerset’s longest and best Comedy Night. In our final event of the 2025/36 season, we have three fantastic performers, including the much-requested return of Samantha Day.

Jo Frank was a Regional Finalist at Funny Women in 2017 and a Finalist at Stand Up for Cider in 2017 & 2018. She is back in business, after a bit of a break, and is now a regular performer on the Southwest comedy circuit and beyond.

Michael Mckenzie presents award-winning comedy from a one-legged NHS doctor. As seen on TV.

After three decades as an accountant and single mum, Samantha Day's been freed from the city and she's really hit her stride, as a truly original act who's progressing fast on the circuit. Samantha is returning to the Playhouse for the fourth time, as one of our most popular comedians.
