£10 | Join Backwell Playhouse for North Somerset’s longest and best Comedy Night. We start our 2026/27 season with an amazing line up of comedians, headlined by Ben Treloar, and supported by Joe Capper, Delyth Evans and Cristina Varga.
About Joe Capper: "Mr Capper's comedy feels like the lovechild of Brassic and Mike Skinner - streetwise, chaotic, and full of charm - with a distinctly Devonian potential shining through." - The People's Comedy
About Delyth Evans: Welsh, autistic woman.
About Cristina Varga: Cristina spent the last three years training on becoming a true Janner and trying to win at life. 2024 Stand-up for Cider finalist, 2025 no accomplishments whatsoever, 2026 has joined the gym.
About Ben Treloar: Winning Cornish Comedian of the Year and shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Awards, Ben is definitely one to watch. With fantastic self-deprecating punchlines and quick crowdwork, it’s easy to see why he’s getting booked across the UK and providing tour support for TV names. Cornish Comedian of the Year 2023. BBC New Comedy Shortlisted 2023/2025. Leicester Circuit Breakers 2026. "What a funny guy" - BBC Radio Cornwall
